- Synopsis: En juin 2002, Elizabeth Ann Smart (Alana Boden) était une jeune fille de 14 ans lorsqu'elle a été enlevée de son domicile à Salt Lake City par le fanatique religieux Brian David Mitchell (Skeet Ulrich). Il l'a emmenée dans un campement vallonné où, avec sa complice tordue, Wanda Barzee (Deirdre Lovejoy), il a tenu Elizabeth en captivité. Elle a été affamée, droguée, violée et soumise à d'étranges rituels religieux jusqu'à ce que, neuf mois plus tard, elle permette son propre sauvetage.
