L?homme au bout du fil affirme avoir placé des bombes dans des lieux publics très fréquentés, notamment un stade de football et un parc aquatique. Il s?agit de « bombes sonores ». Si les sons à proximité dépassent 100 décibels, elles exploseront. Les intentions du terroriste semblent étroitement liées au passé du commandant. Face à cette menace sans précédent une course contre la montre est lancée.
